The Award Winning Crematorium has been carefully designed in a Scandinavian style to blend in with the natural surroundings and includes a quiet room for the privacy of immediate family.
Funeral services take place in our beautiful chapel overlooking the serene waters of Roucan Loch. There is seating for 130, with a large area at the rear of the chapel which can accommodate people standing.
For very large services our external speaker system means that all attending can hear the service. We strongly recommend that families consider taking an extra time slot in such instances. Services take place on the hour Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm daily and last up to a maximum of 30 minutes.
The building has been carefully designed in a Scandinavian style with a timber finish to complement the natural surroundings. The final curtain which was specially commissioned, depicts the William Morris design “Forest” and incorporates nature that may be seen at Roucan Loch. The light and airy chapel has panoramic views. On one side, the view from our chapel windows overlooks the loch, whilst on the other side the eye is drawn to an attractive oak cloister with a pine forest beyond.

The loch is full of trout and bird life including our own family of swans and ducks, while the surrounding woodland abounds with deer, badgers, red squirrels, foxes and owls. It has even been known for an otter to make an appearance during services.
